Get Free Healthcare in Arizona State Prison

Posted by: admin   in Mohave County Az

Frankentaunia are a couple of monsters living in Mohave County, acting as humans. As the wheels take another beating, they learn about Kingman Daily Miner’s story, about the expansion of the minimum security, Arizona State Prison located in Golden Valley, next door to Yucca off Route 40. Managed by MTC and privately owned by a multi-national corporation for profit. The Kingman Daily Miner reported that the new expansion will generate something around $44 million, (didn’t say if that was annually). The Miner also did not mention what the cost to the taxpayers of the state would be to house each booked into the minimum security prison. But, hey all is good because Kingman is such a HOT SPOT for drug users and smugglers and thieves of all kinds, the community can not seem to deal with it by themselves. Arizona Taxpayers will foot the bill for the prison tenants health care, meals, uniforms, and the new expansion of the facilities in general, but the job losses in Kingman and Golden Valley have been quite high as well. Maybe some of the unemployed will like working in prison for slave wages, it won’t be much different than the slave wages earned on the outside. At least the prisoners won’t have to find affordable health insurance, worry about paying their rent or what groceries they can afford at the store. That will all be taken care of by the state taxpayers who do have jobs. Isn’t that nice? So, Frankentaunia wonder if the cost of housing the prisoners within the state will

In contrast, northern Arizona from Flagstaff south and east through the Mogollon Rim Country and White Mountains remains a cooler yet delightful place for families or retirees. It is considered one of the best places to live in America and you can see the stars most nights very brightly. Lowell Observatory, famous for the discovery of Pluto by Schlipher in 1930 is here. The hard working frontier ethic of the area and the very family-centered focus of those towns settled by Mormon pioneers are still tangible.
Northern Arizona has two roots. Those cities along I-40 grew from the flourishing railroad and forestry industries of the late 1800s. Yavapai County, the Rim Country, and the White Mountains developed in the same period from mining, ranching, farming, and forestry. With the arrival of Route 66 in the 1920s, the area became a popular tourist stop. Today the entire area is very tourist oriented. Route 66 and I-40 are an historic highway and popular tourist route with many hotel and restaurant chains mixed with the scenic and nostalgic charm.
Just 75 miles away from Flagstaff is Grand Canyon National Park. Arizona land for sale in this area has an altitude of 6,000′-9000′ and clear skies. Astronomers from around the world have known the area since before the turn of the twentieth century.

Things to Do In Arizona

Posted by: admin   in Route 66

Looking for thing to do in Arizona? Then I have got some great suggestions. Having lived and traveled all over the state I can tell you that Arizona is much more than desert, cactus and coyotes howling at the moon. No matter what your interests you will find plenty to do in the Grand Canyon state.Grand Canyon: Speaking of the Grand Canyon, cabins and hotels provide ample opportunities for visitors to rest and recover after experiencing the awesome beauty unlike anywhere else in the world. Grand Canyon Village on the South Rim is the center for lodging, dining and shopping.Phoenix: Attractions in Phoenix Arizona are both man-made and natural. In the spring enjoy the beauty of the blooming desert flora with a visit to the Phoenix Desert Botanical Garden. Surprise: Surprise Arizona is the home for spring training for the Kansas City Royals and the Texas Rangers.  Exhibition games take place in the Surprise.Lake Havasu: Home of the real London Bridge, Lake Havasu Arizona is located on the Colorado River across from Laughlin, Nevada. When visitors are done boating and jet skiing on the Colorado River reservoir they often take the ferry across the river to try their luck at the casinos.Yuma: Yuma Arizona, located in the southwest corner of Arizona, was once the home of the historic Yuma Territorial Prison. It is now the home of the Army base, Yuma Proving Ground.Winslow: Winslow Arizona was memorialized in the Eagle’s song that mentioned “standing on a corner” in the town that pretty much died after Route 66 was replaced by I-40. Now Route 66 fans come here to pay homage to Route 66 and most recently to pay homage at the 9-11 Remembrance Garden, honoring the dead of September 11, 2001.Sedona: If you feel drawn to Sedona, Arizona, blame it on the Sedona Vortex. Believers in the esoterical come to Sedona for vortex tours, and to consult with the psychics and spiritual specialists and see a spiritual awakening.Arizona ghost towns can be found in every country in Arizona. With names that often speak to their origins during the early days of the gold rush, not all of them are completely uninhabited, while others have become tourist attractions. Arizona RV Parks can be exclusive, expensive and have all the amenities you could want.  Others are cheap, with no amenities, more commonly known as boondocking. The BLM areas between Quartzsite and Yuma, along the Colorado are extremely popular with those independent RVers who don’t necessarily have the money to stay at a regular RV park.If you are looking for Arizona Spas, you’ll find most in Tucson or Scottsdale. Some are destination spas where people go to get a physical, mental or emotional transformation. Other spas are resort spas, where visitors can decide whether or not they even want to use the spa facilities.

Arizona MLS Real Estate Listings

Posted by: admin   in Route 66

Kingman Arizona real estate listings: Ideal for hard-working families or couples who just want to enjoy the outdoors. The early history of Kingman saw a flood of gold miners in the 1860s, but today’s economy thrives on tourism, manufacturing, distribution and transportation. Industries like True Serve Hardware, Goodyear Tire and American Woodmark Corp have settled here. The favorable taxes, close proximity to other state markets and Santa Fe Railway all facilitate business. For those who’ve retired, there is much to see and do in Kingman, without feeling bombarded by city culture. According to the official Tourist site, “The roots of Arizona real estate listings are captured by the Historic Route 66 Museum, Army Airfield Museum, and the Mohave Museum of History and Arts that recount the travels on Route 66, depict the World War II era and the early days of railroading, mining and ranching.  At an elevation of around 3,300 feet Kingman offers a temperate climate year-round.” Additionally, half the land is owned by the US Forest Service and Bureau of Land Management, which preserves the natural surroundings – the Colorado River, Lake Mead, Lake Mohave (man-made), Lake Havasu (man-made) and the Hualapai Mountain Range. Water enthusiasts will enjoy the 1,000 miles of shoreline in the middle of the desert and those looking to “get their kicks on Route 66″ will find the longest stretch of open historic road here. The Northwest Arizona MLS are conveniently close to the Hoover Dam, the Grand Canyon and a Multiple Resource Historic District.

Arizona MLS: Like the mythological bird, Phoenix the city rises from the desert ashes to be one of the largest, most thriving cities in America. Home buyers are drawn to the Arizona real estate listings in search of sunshine, world class resorts, award-winning golf courses and Southwestern charm. In fact, 11,000 new residents arrive to Arizona each month. Houses are dabbled with hints of Spanish-influenced architecture – rounded archways, red roof tiles, ranch layouts, stucco exteriors and vivid color schemes. While it may be surprising to imagine agriculture thriving in the desert, the more fertile areas can harvest cotton, dates, olives, citrus and subtropical fruits. Seen as a less expensive and equally scenic alternative to California, a number of Fortune 500 and Fortune 1000 high-tech companies set up their manufacturing, research and development bases here that includes computers, electronics and aerospace engineering. Home buyers looking the Arizona MLS for a cultural hub won’t be disappointed, given the number of museums, theaters, golf courses, horse races and professional sports teams. Given the number of foreclosures and 15 straight months of falling prices, there are a number of outstanding deals to be had in Phoenix, Arizona real estate.
