This was Kelcie’s first solo performance on stage at the Louisiana Dance Masters Competition. She is 8 years old. Her music stopped and she was very brave and continued to dance. They let her come back on and perform again with music which is at the end of the clip.

01/23/2009 – Competed at Dance Teachers United, Got a Diamond Award and 3rd place overall Petite Soloist!

Wow… good job… I know thats hard to keep going when your music stops!!!!! Many kids just leave…. Bravo for stickin’ it out!!!! Ps… thanks for your Cars that go Boom comment!lol…..

Oh wow! My brother …
Oh wow! My brother and I had a similar experience at a competition when we were kids doing a tap routine! It happens, and every teacher should prepare their students for that. She has been taught well! Kudos to her and her teacher!

I love love LOVE …
I love love LOVE her needles!!! how are your kids so flexible?? haha you can tell she’s a lot more confident when the musics on but she still did better than you could expect from most girls her age!!!! and I liked the kartwheel holding her leg, that was really near and I don’t see that too often!!! your daughters are amazing I hope they both keep doing pageant every year and they will win soon cause they’re awesome :) )

Unfortunately I can’t. I requested all of it when I ordered it but where they fade into it with the music is all that was there. They obviously were not prepared to film the same child so many times….lol
