Can you still drive the full length of route 66? Is it still good looking?

Any tips from anyone who has done it? Where would i find people who have?

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news. But Route 66 was decommissioned in 1985. Portions of it still exist. But big chunks of it have been built over with interstate highway.
