Going for a short drive on Route 66. I’ve been down it a few times just for a day out. Does anyone know of any attractions that might be hidden or "off the beaten path" between Joliet and Pontiac, Illinois? I don’t think there is much in that area, at least that I haven’t already seen. Just looking for something new with the limited time I have. Thanks

you could always eat at the restaurant in Wilmington with the green spaceman visit a couple of antique stores on the way or you could go farther south into Springfield and visit some of Lincolns homes and parks
