Tales of the Abyss – Asch vs Nebilim (Unknown) Undub

This is a NO-HEALING NO-MENU NO-REVIVE victory. The Neutralizer AD Skill prevented the damage from Indignation (even though I “dodged” it). You can’t die during an FOF Change like Shadow Fury, that’s how I survived Meteor Storm. Also, Mystic Cage, Fortune’s Arc and Big Bang can’t kill. The voices are Japanese and have English text because it’s an “Undub.” I used 1 code to put Asch alone in my party, and 1 to unlock his equipment restriction. That’s it~ You can download the high quality version from the link in my channel description.

@Majutsukou How did you get Asch’s attack up so high? All my character’s physical attacks on Unknown mode do 1 damage. Even Guy who had Tutti equipped throughout my entire playthrough only does 1 physical damage.

@Majutsukou Oh ok that makes sense because im fighting her right now and she casted it and I double jumped and almost died becasue she casted Infernal Prison on me lol someimes it works for me but sometimes it doesnt :P Thx for the feed back. And I wanted to ask if you knew about what i said in my other comment of where you can mess up her Mystic Cage did you know that ? Let me know cya!

Bad idea actually. When you unfreeze she’s either under you ready to attack or just about to finish casting a spell, which is worse because you’ll be caught in a falling animation, then stuck in a recovery delay before you can run away in time. She never attacks me my way and even if she does I can bolt out of the way the exact moment I unfreeze.

And when she cast Time Stop Duoble Jump before it freeze’s you so you have more of a chance to not get hit by it.

You know you could’ve screw up her Mystic Cage right??
If you have your Over Limit full and you use it while shes casting it you casn stop her from doing it. I do it all the time :D

I’m personally not a fan of any handheld Tales game or any of the ones that came before Tales of Destiny 2 (J). I think most of the really good ones are on PS2. Unless you don’t mind playing games in Japanese, I have no other recommendations for you for this series. Maybe you could try the latest Star Ocean?

PS2. I highly recommend it. The next closest thing would be Tales of Vesperia for the 360 (or the PS3 if you can handle Japanese).

Haha…Thanks ^^;…. Though while I might be up there with some of the elites, I think Nore139 and ShinryuReishiki have more to show for than I do! If only I had capturing hardware again…

Spell cancelling :)
Although, Nebilim makes it too risky for me to fight her with my flashier play style using spell cancels with long and varied FOF cancel combos. Basically if she breaks out of a combo and you’re still jammed in an attack animation, she’ll 1-shot you. ^^;

At certain HP percentages, she always uses a certain Mystic Arte, so judging by how much damage I had done to her, I was able to predict the Rending Saber. :)

Torrent the ISO, and burn it to DVD-R. You need a modded PS2.
