Get Free Healthcare in Arizona State Prison

Posted by: admin   in Mohave County Az

Frankentaunia are a couple of monsters living in Mohave County, acting as humans. As the wheels take another beating, they learn about Kingman Daily Miner’s story, about the expansion of the minimum security, Arizona State Prison located in Golden Valley, next door to Yucca off Route 40. Managed by MTC and privately owned by a multi-national corporation for profit. The Kingman Daily Miner reported that the new expansion will generate something around $44 million, (didn’t say if that was annually). The Miner also did not mention what the cost to the taxpayers of the state would be to house each booked into the minimum security prison. But, hey all is good because Kingman is such a HOT SPOT for drug users and smugglers and thieves of all kinds, the community can not seem to deal with it by themselves. Arizona Taxpayers will foot the bill for the prison tenants health care, meals, uniforms, and the new expansion of the facilities in general, but the job losses in Kingman and Golden Valley have been quite high as well. Maybe some of the unemployed will like working in prison for slave wages, it won’t be much different than the slave wages earned on the outside. At least the prisoners won’t have to find affordable health insurance, worry about paying their rent or what groceries they can afford at the store. That will all be taken care of by the state taxpayers who do have jobs. Isn’t that nice? So, Frankentaunia wonder if the cost of housing the prisoners within the state will

@Frankentaunia Thank you but I was just joking. I know they wouldn’t hire me as a corrections officer, and I wouldn’t want to be one. I know what they have to put up with.

@JoshG1976AZ …Nope…and unless they ship in folks to fill those positions from other communities and states, they’ll probably not hire too many from this area either. Besides, it wouldn’t be to their economic advantage to hire a full staff. I’ll bet they’ll cut corners where ever possible.
