There’s so many wonderful pugs and pug mixes looking for homes in shelters. Some shelters will even let you buy like a gift certificate that way, after the craziness of Chirstmas your dad can go in and pick out the dog he wants.

check out this little cutie! He’s in Mesa and his adoption fee is only $275 and everything is done. He sounds like a doll. Arizona Pug Adoption and Rescue Network has a ton of great looking dogs.
Plus is your dad ready for a puppy? They are a handful! I got my lab mix at 8 weeks old from someone who only had her 3 days and decided a puppy was too much to handle.

You can get a Chinese pug from china. Since the breed has been bred in the west for about 300 years it’s hard to still call them Chinese. How about you research for a pug?
Christmas is a hard time to get a puppy as most good breeders do not sell X-mass puppies and $250 isn’t going to get your more then a Back Yard bred dog. Save your money, and go to a pug rescue where you can save a life that needs your dad’s love. For $250 you can get the pug of your choice, spayed or neutered, with all its shots, potty trained and maybe with some basic training.
You’re not going to get that from a BYB puppy. Not at all.

Dogs do not make good gifts. NO good breeder or rescue will hand one over or sell one to ANYONE planning on giving it away. PERIOD.

Pugs have tons of health problems – you won’t find quality OR healthy for that price. Best you can do is a shelter or rescue, and AGAIN – no good one will hand one to you if you plan it as a gift.
