There are no tours. The Navajo on the reservation are modernized and live the same as the rest of the US. You will not see tee pees or any other sterotype you may be thinking of. If you go to the Navajo reservation you will just see poverty.

I've never heard of a short tour, the reserves are pretty far. The west side of the Navajo Reservation is plain desert compared to the eastern part. The bus tours last all day to the Grand Canyon and you have to meet at the Cameron Trading Post. Would be better to drive to Cameron. The Wupatki Ruins are along the way. The Walnut Canyon cliff dwellings are near to Flag also. good luck..

The two nearest reservations you'll find near Flagstaff are the Navajo & the Hopi reservation, the Navajo reservation being the bigger of the two surrounding the Hopi reservation. I'm not to sure what goes on with the Navajo tribes as far as ceremonies, but I know for us (Hopis) we have things going on year round & there are certain things that are not open to the public. Those would be the two choices as far as reservations up near the Flagstaff area, down south near Tucson you you've got other tribes.

Edit: By the way Nicole is right to some point, not really! There's a lot more to it than what she's talking about, there are tours!
