Is it just me or is the housing market coming down drastically?!I’ve been looking at homes online and the prices seem muchhh cheaper than they were a couple years ago. We want to move there and for this moment, it’s a good thing for us!
Well we’re pretty young, 23, and aren’t having kids for several years. But what makes it such a bad place to raise a family? Not trying to be rude at all but just wondering what is so bad about it? I know there is a lot of partying but your kids don’t always have to subjected to that.

Yes the housing market is having some trouble and there are a lot of forclosures here just like everywhere else in the country. I don’t understand what would make you think this is not a good place to raise a family. I would not take my kids to the channel during spring break but other than that I see absolutely no problem. I live here and I love it. Your biggest concern should be employment. It is a fairly small town and much of the employment is construction which is in trouble right now (thus the housing situation) and the average income here is likely to be lower then you are used to.
