how often does it snow in Flagstaff AZ?

Posted by: admin   in Kingman Communities

what's the average snowfall per month? per year?

it really snowed a lot last year, more so than this year. so far we've only had one big snow storm. it snowed for the first time in like a month yesterday, it didn't really stick and it's been sunny today and is supposed to be the rest of the week. it snows off and on from december all the way sometimes until july. yes, it snowed lightly one day in july last year. it was really weird because the sun was so extreme, it turned into a daytime fog. it was the craziest thing i'd ever seen since i moved here.

Flagstaff gets an average of 110 inches of snow per year. Snowbowl is open usually until April so I'd say it snows between December and April. From what I hear though, the snow is not always reliable – it's not a super snowy place.
