How many miles did you ride in 2007?

Posted by: admin   in Kingman Communities

I’m sure to get some interesting answers here. This is being asked of motorcyclists only…sorry scooter pups, etc. And Baldy & William should give us a laugh as usual.

I only managed 25,760 last year. I should be over 30,000+ this year with riding daily to work & one trip planned to AZ…..maybe Canada again too!

I’m a truck driver so I cant ride like I want too. Last year I put on 17,820, my busa cries for me when I’m gone!

since picking my bike up in February of 07 I have logged about 12,500 miles ,and that’s with having to park it for a month until my cast came off after going down in a turn and fracturing my ankle,I hope to do twice that this yr

After getting my bike in November I added 800 miles to it.

Not a lot but hoping to do a lot more this year.

Yow! You ran some serious mileage. I only did about 5K (short commute, split with car, and weekend rides) and I’m pretty steady around that for years now.

I spent approximately 253 hours on my bike this year. Of that time, it took about an hour to put on 17 miles roundtrip to the local bar. The remaining 252 hours on the bike were spent in the garage making "Vrooooom" sounds.

Oh man! I rode a ton! Probably more than I should have. I am planning on getting new tires for my bike I rode so much!

I almost cracked the century mark and rode over 900 miles on my Harly in 2007. Between the weekly trips to Bed, Bath and Beyond for new mauve 1,200 thread count sheets (why can’t they get HD logo ones!?!?!) and new curtains to match, cruising down Castro street, hitting the steam room, and going to Sebastapol for the annual “Teddy Bears Picnic” I really racked up the miles. Come to think of it, I may be ready for a new bike soon with this many miles.

WOW you must have a butt of steel… 25K miles in a year is twice as many miles as I put on my car…

As many of you well know, Harleys are the most reliable and road-worthy bikes in the universe. As such, I firmly believe that my HD could clock over 300,000 miles per year if asked to do so. Further, I’m sure it could beat any of those "round the world" records held by those wussy BMW gs bikes. But, as far as the # of miles I rode last year, I would say I’m pretty close to the 25k mark. I haven’t, however, done the math yet as to how many of the miles put on my bike in 2007 were trailered miles and how many were riding miles.

Around 12,000 between the New and Vintage Vespa, Lambrettas and Italjet in the garage. And I DO NOT include trailer miles, a mile ridden is a mile ridden.
