How does the Nitro Circus get away with so much?

i.e. Jumping off the London Bridge in Lake Havasu, AZ.

They would get permits to do that sort of stuff as it would all need to be set up. Something that could not safely be done without permission

MTV and their producers probably get permission from all the places where the stunt takes place. You never see police or other authorities come to complain about what their doing.
