Good family neighborhoods in Flagstaff AZ?

Would you recommend Flagstaff AZ as a good place to raise a family? Are there lots of activities in the area? What are the schools like?

Now an adult's perspective -
Flagstaff is a good place to raise a family. The Snow Bowl is near there with lots of winter sports to offer. The Grand Canyon is about 1 hour away and Sedona less than one hour (your kids would love Slide Rock Park). http://www.10best.com/Flagstaff,AZ/Attractions_&_Activities/
There is a lot to be said about growing up in a small town vs. a city. I have a friend that lives there and is happy with the schools.
NAU is located there when they're ready for college.

My mom lives out that way. I stayed with her for 2 years and it was boring. If you like boring I suggest you move there.

flagstaff is nice its close to sedona which has alot of nice things to see and the out of africa zoo is close. i dunno bought school in the area cuz im from phoenix but i know it would be a nice place to live

not close to many towns. only limited to whats there. friend lives there, and says nothing to do but to get drunk. so maybe you better move more south. like sedona!
