Fun time in Laughlin, NV.?

Posted by: admin   in Kingman Communities

We'll be staying in Laughlin for 3 nights and 4 days and looking for fun things to be seen and done!! Anyone have any tips???

wow i don't see many people going to Laughlin let alone even know where that is. i used to work/live there temporarily. i thought the coolest place was a club inside the Riverside Resort & Casino called Loser's that was pretty cool to go to. there is one mall there called the Horizon Mall that was just ok. and the best food is at the buffet at Harrah's because they had endless selection of food choices. going swimming/tubing and riding the jetskis and waverunners was also cool on the Colorado River there. i stayed at the River Palms there and that was a decent place. across the river is Bullhead City, AZ and that is where most of the locals go because they have the grocery stores, Wal Mart, etc over there. good luck and let me know if you have any questions!

I haven't been to Laughlin in a few years. It appeared that there wasn't much to do except visit the casinos. There are boats trip on the Colorado available. It's also very hot there. Much hotter than Vegas where we live.

Nothing's changed in Laughlin. There are only a couple things to do:

1. Gamble
2. Hang out by the pool
3. Take your water toys (boats, jetskis, wave runners) or rent them, and go to Lake Mojave or right there on the river.
4. Visit Oatman, AZ and feed the wild burros
5. Shop at the outlet mall on Casino Drive.
6. Drive to visit Hoover Dam.

Where are you staying? The Edgwater has good food at the buffets and restaurants, but a terrible pool. Great views of the river, too. The Aquarius has terrible food. Harrah's has good food, but is at the end of the strip, far away from the other hotels.
