anyone ever win big $$$ in laughlin, NV???

I am debating on either going to laughlin or vegas? has anyone ever won big $$ in laughlin or know of anyone who has? which is better? is laughlin fun at all? I know its very different than vegas, but what are the differences?
is the drive as bad as the one to vegas?

Laughlin is small. I don't think people win as big there. There are more casinos to choose from in vegas. there are the ones on the strip and the ones the locals go to. people win big there. I am a local and like the Suncoast. there is a brand new Casino/hotel/resort called Red Rock that is awesome in Summerlin Off Charleston Blvd. Both drives are a pain, depending where you are coming from (c.a.?). Laughlin has one main road that can get real windy and cause roll overs. They are both nice, just depends what you are lookimg for. I prefer vegas because of the vast variety of things to do and what ever happens there, stays there. Not so in Laughlin. There were bikers that got shot and there was a trial and a real mess. Vegas is Vegas, baby and perhaps you will see someone famous.

Yes you have just as much of a chance at winning in Laughlin as Vegas. The odds are still with the casino and it doesn't matter where the casino is located. At least with Laughlin you won't spend upwards of $300 a night on a hotel room, and can walk around with being caught in a swarm of tourists.
