Wow, I think ‘greenman’ is correct.

What I’ve gathered from what I’ve been reading is — the Posse Comitatus Act was repealed.

That is rather disturbing. That, seemingly, would make it much easier to implement martial law.

the natl guard can be deployed on us soil…its the Military that cant patrol on american soil…the nat. guard can.

yeah when the Guard is working in its state form (i.e. not federalized to go to war) they can be used to assist in things. Not against posse comitatus.
