Kingman AZ Friday 18th 2009 around 4.45 pm Downtown on Andy Divine National Guard perfoming “police” duty, providing “security’ and directting traffic. We support our soldiers and troops but we do not support the unlawful deployement of our soldiers on US soil, to “police” the Citizens… A clear violation of the The Posse Comitatus Act Section 1385 of Title 18, United States Code (USC), states: Whoever, except in cases and under circumstances expressly authorized by the Constitution or Act of Congress, willfully uses any part of the Army or Air Force as a posse comitatus or otherwise to execute the laws shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than two years, or both. Why and Who is permitting this “unamerican” precedent and violation of the law in Kingman? Are we living in a Police State City?

Do you think if they are going to do a Military Dictatorship in America they would just do it in one swoop? hell no cause people would riot, But if you do it in a slow progression not many people would notice till its too late. Open your eyes and your mind! Wake up before its too late!

i wish there were more National Guard troops in the street more often so that way people can understand that they don’t play around

I’m gonna guess that the guards got too close to the Kingmanites meth-lab, that’s why they’re freaking out.

These guys were volunteering to help with the parade. VOLUNTEERING!! Furthermore, directing traffic and helping out with a parade would hardly be considered “executing laws” under the statue. All you Ronpaulites and minutemen give right wingers a bad image. Moreover, if you knew anything about the city, you’d know that alomost 20% of the graduating high school class joins the military. If this is so unconstitutional, then file a federal lawsuit. You’ll get laughed out of court.

@NolanMGI,
The question is, do we have a history of our government using troops improperly?

During Katrina troops kicked in locked doors, terrorized people, slapped law abiding citizens around and confiscated LEGAL weapons, they then took off leaving these people unprotected,
the people were better off before the
so called help arrived,
I won’t even mention Waco,

Watch the video

ok all you paranoid civillians….they aren’t carrying weapons all they are doing is helping with traffic……….there isn’t some GOVERNMENT conspiracy by having soldiers help out with traffic and if they happen to have a problem that a small police force can’t deal with….ITS TRAFFIC. People are so paranoid from all these movies about GOVERNMENT CONSPIRACY and think they are going to some military dictatorship….lol seriously it’s not going to happen people so relax!

the national guard IS the military…however they can do it because they fall under Title 32 not Title 10 unless mobilized by the pres.

Exactly. This is no where near a violation of this act.

It is conditioning for the general populace. If you get used to a consistent military police force, then people will be more willing to accept true martial law.

The Part on in the video where it says we support the troops and all that and where it said that troops where doing police duty and policing the citizens THAT’S not true, because these are not just NG any MOS these are NG MP’s they are Law Enforcement for the Military and if asked to by LOCAL LAW ENFORCEMENT they are Civilian LAW ENFORCEMENT too and they are Federal Law Enforcement.

The National Guard is not held under Posse Comitatus unless federalized under Title 10 USC by the President. They can, however, operate along side state and local law enforcement under Title 32 USC if called to do so by that states governor.

yeah when the Guard is working in its state form (i.e. not federalized to go to war) they can be used to assist in things. Not against posse comitatus.

Wow, I think ‘greenman’ is correct.

What I’ve gathered from what I’ve been reading is — the Posse Comitatus Act was repealed.

That is rather disturbing. That, seemingly, would make it much easier to implement martial law.

LOL, brainwashed people can only pull the “conspiracy” card.

I am willing to bet you have no idea what the Possee Comitatus act is, or states.

I feel sorry for you when crap really starts hitting the fan.
