I want to drive Route 66. I live near Chicago and I would like to drive it as far as I can. What major attractions should I see? Any good books and websites that you have personally used and can recommend would be great! Thanks!
Hiya,
I did Route 66 earlier this year, and it was amazing! The best site I found with both a detailed map, and really useful locations along the way including accommodation, restaurants, landmarks, history and sightseeing is UrWurld.com. Highly recommended!!

I am headed to Laughlin , NV for a couple of days and was wondering if there are any coupons online anywhere for buffets/entertainment. Thanks for any help.
I will suggest getting a copy of the 2009 American Casino Guide on amazon.com It cost around $12.99. http://www.lasvegas-how-to.com/casino-guide.php It has tons of tips for Vegas and Laughlin and over 140 pages of coupons.
Laughlin coupons include
2-for-1 lunch buffet at Aquarius
2-for-1 "Turn a $20 into More" entry at Aquarius
2-for-1 buffet at Harrah’s
2-for-1 pizza at Beach Cafe at Harrah’s
2-for-1 appetizer at Range Steakhouse at Harrah’s

i have a volvo semi truck broke down in kingman az can any one tell me an after hours number for volvo or the nearest dealership
1-800-52-VOLVO is their big rig roadside assistance number.
I used to live in Lake Havasu, so I know Kingman isn’t exactly the mecca of modern civilization. Try the Roadside assist number, and see if they can help. Or as some else said, go to the 76 station and see what they can do for you.
Hello -
Lake Havasu City is pretty much a resort town, with a lot of retiree’s choosing to make this home.
Havasu also happens to be the choice destination for many Spring Breakers, as tons of college students flock here to hang out on the water and party. Me, personally, that’s not for me, but the way I see it, let ‘em come. The more the merrier! Let them have fun.
This town varies in size from about I’d say 40,000 or so during the summer and roughly double that during the winter when all the snowbirds come back to town to get out of the cold weather. Again, let them come. I have many many snowbird clients.
What Havasu is mainly known for is the the home of the London Bridge, you know, the one from the childhood jingle. Been over it many times.
If you choose to visit, just make sure you come anytime except the summer, due to the intense heat. We’re pretty much the hot spot of the USA during summer. I treat it as the dead of winter. I just don’t go outside that much, and when I do, I dress accordingly.
AC house to AC car to AC store, and back again.
Hope this helps! If you have any specific questions, add a detail and I’ll try to answer the best I can.

Going for a short drive on Route 66. I’ve been down it a few times just for a day out. Does anyone know of any attractions that might be hidden or "off the beaten path" between Joliet and Pontiac, Illinois? I don’t think there is much in that area, at least that I haven’t already seen. Just looking for something new with the limited time I have. Thanks
you could always eat at the restaurant in Wilmington with the green spaceman visit a couple of antique stores on the way or you could go farther south into Springfield and visit some of Lincolns homes and parks

I just would like to know how many miles because I saw this pet bunny that is almost litter trained on craigslist and its in rimrock and I want to ask my mom. I would really really love to have him.
The distance from Flagstaff, Arizona to Rimrock, Arizona is 53.52 miles.
I saw a TV show on Route 66 and I think this is what they said but I can’t find any supporting info on it.
The old US highway system originally just hung the US highway shield on existing state and county 2 lane roads in exchange for US Government paying money to maintain them . Then the US gov’t began to pay for repaving and widening of the 2 lanes into 4 lanes . Then in the 1950′s the Interstate system began with all new 4 lane limited access . When the Interstate system was completed in the 1990′s some of the old US highways were de certified like route 66 among others .
